Jayme Soulati joined Captivate Communications as Principal in 2010, bringing with her a wealth of broad experience in public relations, social media and marketing to a wide range of clients across industries, including legal. She blends public relations and social media with a keen strategist orientation and executes marketing public relations by alignment of business goals with communications strategy to influence positioning.
Jayme is also president of Soulati Media, Inc., a marketing public relations and social media firm formed in 2002. In 1984, after graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Jayme launched her career in Chicago’s public relations agencies. Jayme’s clients are from a broad array of vertical markets and industries. In the legal sector, she has worked with Thomson-Reuters in product marketing and LexisNexis for 10 years as a consultant. While there, she worked on teams to promote three legal technology business units in CRM, analytics and profitability and competitive intelligence. She has also worked for a variety of attorneys including a San Francisco personal injury law firm, an bankruptcy attorney, and a trial attorney. Since 2004, Jayme has represented an alternative health clinic and physician practice in Los Angeles that delivers alternative cardiovascular treatment. She is acting chief business officer managing labor/employment and client lawsuits, contract negotiation and business deals. She represented an agent of Atlas Van Lines for 13 years and also has experience in the collision repair business.
Jayme sat on the Board of Directors of the League of Women Voters Greater Dayton and chaired a fundraiser for Clothes That Work “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.” She is a past president of the Publicity Club of Chicago and was a member of its board of directors for six years. She has received several professional recognition awards in addition to awards for client programs. Most notable are two Silver Trumpets from the Publicity Club of Chicago and first place from Chicago’s Social Service Communicators. Jayme graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.
